Have you got six minutes?

Here you are three wonderful sites to practice listening in a fun way. The recordings won’t take longer than 6 minutes, and you’ll be able to choose from a wide variety of sources.

1- Video Jug: Life Explained on Film: Hundreds of videos with lots of tips and advice on plenty of subjects. Examples:

2- 6-minute English on the BBC: very short lessons with audio+transcript, so that you can practice specific aspects of English. Today’s topic is on pronunciation!

3- ESL Video: learn English through songs, reports, interviews. You can take quizzes to assess your comprehension. Here you have an example.
